Over thirty children and their parents were at JFS this morning for our Cereal Bowl Young Families event.

Each child brought a box of cereal for our Lucy and Joe Food Pantry, which provides personal care and food items to elders, families and individuals in need within the Metrowest community.

The kids learned about Tzedakah, read a story with Theater Arts teacher Sharon Winn, personally placed their cereal boxes on the shelves of the food pantry and created art for the pantry door!

The next young families event, a Birthday Bash to benefit the Wilson Elementary School in Framingham, will be held on Thursday April 21st. Visit the event page here on Jewishboston.com.
