Sick of the dating game? These matchmaking websites let someone else play it for you.

There’s a reason why Bravo’s reality TV series The Millionaire Matchmaker is still a hit in its fifth season. It’s not the wealthy clientele, the lavishly expensive dates, or the endless gold-diggers. It’s the matchmaker herself, Patti Stanger -- a Jewish gal with lots of strategic, straight-talking advice on how to find love.

If you’re burnt out from the dating scene or just need a break, maybe you’d like someone like Patti do the work for you. Or better yet, someone who you know, trust, and won’t charge a fortune. How about a Rabbi or your mom?

Introducing JBoston.com and TheJMom.com: two relatively new Jewish dating sites that, unlike JDate, help people find love through the time-tested art of matchmaking.

Interested to give it a try? Check out their profiles:

created at: 2012-06-05What it is: JBoston is an online Jewish dating service where local Jewish matchmakers combine forces with matching technology to help Jewish singles of all backgrounds find love. JBoston is a non-profit, and nominal fees are set up only to cover the cost to operate the website.

Who it's for: The heterosexual Jewish community, inclusive of all Jewish backgrounds and observance levels.

How it works: As a user, you fill out your profile and are assigned a matchmaker. Your matchmaker then gets to know you better through calls, emails, or even in-person meetings. You never review other users’ profiles yourself. Instead, your matchmaker suggests potential matches that you can accept or decline. When you and another user both accept to be matched, you take it from there and plan your date.

Current users: Over 400 since launching the Boston service in May, 2012. (It’s been available in other cities since 2011.)

Price: Free for the basic service (limited to one match per week), or $18/mo for the premium service (unlimited matches and more personal attention from your matchmaker).

Success rate: Since JBoston has only been around for a month, it's too soon to say. But it partners with JRetroMatch.com for the use of their matching technology, which claims to have resulted in over 1,500 marriages.

What it is: TheJMom allows your mom to perform her favorite activity (playing matchmaker) with the power of an online platform.

Who it's for: The Jewish community inclusive of all Jewish backgrounds and observance levels. The site is also 100% welcoming of the LGBT community and wants to grow that part of its membership.

How it works: Your mom creates a profile for you and browses potential partners in your area. When she finds a profile she likes, she contacts the mom who created it for more information, and they work together to set you two kinderlach (kids) up.

Current users: 2,500 moms have signed up since the service launched a little over a year ago.

Price: $18 for one month’s subscription. Or you can choose longer subscription packages that lower the monthly cost.

Success rate: According to TheJMom, more than 5,000 messages have been sent, resulting in hundreds of dates.  And there’s even been one marriage.
