JCC Diller Teen Fellows Class of 2010-2011--Mazel tov!
Mazel tov to the just-announced JCC Diller Teen Fellows Class of 2010-2011!
The JCC Diller Teen Fellows are 20 tenth- and eleventh-grade students who will undertake a challenging program of leadership development and community service, including a 10-day Israel trip and hosting of a sister cohort from Haifa, Israel to exchange ideas and experiences.
The Diller Teen Fellows program is a pluralistic, national youth leadership fellowship currently available in 10 U.S. cities under the auspices of Jewish organizations committed to the growth and development of a new generation of leaders. The Boston program is subsidized by the Helen Diller Family Foundation and the Boston-Haifa Steering Committee of the Combined Jewish Philanthropies (CJP). The 2010-2011 class was selected in a competitive process based on their leadership aptitude, commitment to Jewish learning, interest in exploring their connection to Israel, passion for serving their community, and ability to contribute to a diverse and well balanced group dynamic.
