Dear Family and Friends,

I wanted to share with you that I signed up for a course of 100 hours of Jewish study:  Me’ah (Hebrew for 100), sponsored by Hebrew College and CJP, held at Congregation Sha’aray Shalom in Hingham over a two year period.  The last time it was offered at the South Shore location was ten years ago, and I was not then able to sign up.

The first session orientation was last night.  Bible Instructor Dr. Lynne Heller was just superb!  I found myself thinking I might have been similar to her had I gone the route of professional Jewish educator instead of medical technologist!

This morning I feel that I had been dying of thirst but did not recognize it, and that she gave me my first sip of sweet water!

The class will meet Tuesday evenings for 25 weeks a year for two years.  If I should miss a lecture it will be available at a Google site!

What a great way to start my retirement!

Love,

Barbara
