Confeshuns of a Bad Speller
I was never good in school. And my teacher was always wrapping my hands with a ruler, to make sure that ‘separate’ had two a’s and not two e’s. And gosh darn it if tomorrow always came out ‘tommorow.’ Then there was the whole thing about whose write and wrong. I always thought I was, but apparently I was mistaken. I often had to weight outside for the bus, in the cold without warm close on.
Since I couldn’t do well with righting, I decided to take up singing. My voice was kinda soft but it had a sweet tone. The mane point was that I needed something to keep me from feeling bad about my schoolwork.
One mourning, I walked buy the music room and saw a flyer for this singing group. I red that a bunch of kids were getting together and would reherse once a weak. It was a Jewish groop. And gosh golly, I’m Jewish too. Wow, I thought to myself. Are their really other Jewish boys and girls who like to sing in Boston? May be there are. I sure hope they can sing good! The hole thing started to make cents to me. I wanted to join a Jewish singing group.
But from the poster, I noticed something about that group. I guess they dont sing with any accompaniest. They sing acapela. And they sing in Hebrew two! Hebrew? Wow. I loved Hebrew School. My rabbi was rad.
They’re name was HONORABLE MENSCHEN. Apparently their vary good and smart. A Jewish a cappela group. Wholy cow. What a grate idea. I decided to audition for the group. Well, their auditions were going to be held on January 8th. It was a Sunday. And at Harvard to. At Harvard Hillel. I think I went to Harvard Hillel one time for something. I would have to choose a time to sing for them. Any time between 5 and 8 at nite.
I don’t no if I will be as good as them, but we’ll sea.
