This past spring, 55 young adults in their 20s and 30s participated in Eser: Top Ten Jewish Innovations. Here are some of their favorite parts of the program:

  2. “I loved sitting with peers discussing topics that had to do with being Jewish.  Hearing others’ views and opinions made me think more deeply about what matters.”
  3.  “It was okay to ask ‘stupid’ questions – our leaders made sure we were all on the ‘same page,’ regardless of our prior Jewish knowledge.”
  4. Eser taught us that discussion and argument are intrinsic to Judaism.”
  5.  “I loved the Eser teachers – they were smart, down-to-earth, likable and good at leading discussions.”
  6.  “After discussing faith-related issues with people from very different backgrounds I realize that I can forge my own Jewish identity.”
  7.  “I have a clearer picture of basic Jewish concepts that I knew existed but could never quite grasp.”
  8.  “Eser helped me to appreciate ways Judaism fits into my daily life as well as its impact on world issues.”
  9.  “I loved that the program made me feel more well-rounded and educated. I gained a greater understanding of the reasoning behind various traditions.”
  10.  “I left each session wanting more information and determined to search for answers. It was an absolutely wonderful experience and I’m so happy you organized it. Thank you!  You have truly enriched my life.”
