Would you rather be a pig or a duck?

by Boston Jewish Music Festival / March 04, 2011

Who will you root for this Sunday at 1 at the Leventahl Sidman JCC when Shirim Klezmer Orcehstra present Maurice Sendak's Pincus and the Pig? With a special pre-concert art project, musical petting zoo, and the hysterical Fishel Bresler as narrator, the aftermnoon promises Pincus pandemonium for all.

Based on Peter and The Wolf, Sendak's Pincus is a heimish (homey) introduction to Klezmer music and Yiddish. Hear a little bit. There are special family packages and Bringa Bubbe/Zayde specials at www.bostonjewishmusicfestival.org. Tickets are available at the door but advance purchases are appreciated so we have enough art supplies for all.
