Your Guide to Holocaust Commemoration Events
Yom HaShoah, or Holocaust Remembrance Day, is on Sunday, May 1, 2011. With about twenty events happening around the Greater Boston area, from movie screenings and discussions to survivors speaking, there are many options for each of us to recognize Yom HaShoah, remember the tragic events of our past, and look forward to a more hopeful future.

- 15th anniversary of the New England Holocaust Memorial. Featuring children and grandchildren of survivors at the Memorial
- Frozen Memorial by Boston 3G: the third generation of Holocaust survivors. Putting a twist on a moment of silence by freezing in place for 5 minutes across from the Holocaust Memorial
