Greetings from JewishBoston.com's New Community Manager
Hello! I'm writing to introduce myself as the new community manager for JewishBoston.com. I'm so thrilled to be joining the team that is working hard to bring you the best community website possible!
I'm not entirely new to CJP—I have been the editor of the organization's Family Connections newsletter for families with young children since its inception three years ago. During that time I also worked as a communications specialist at the Brandeis National Committee at Brandeis University. Before that I served as associate editor of the Jewish teen magazine JVibe (yes, there was such a thing!). I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Richmond (go Spiders!), where I majored in journalism and political science.
I'm very much looking forward to meeting and working with the various organizations using JewishBoston.com. I will be reviving our organizational roundtable meetings, where we will have the opportunity to talk about using the website, promoting events and other activities and effective ways to use social media. I invite you to join me at our upcoming High Holiday-focused meetings on Aug. 7 in the South Area, Aug. 8 at our offices downtown or Aug. 9 in Newton.
In addition, I will be staffing the support@jewishboston.com email, spearheading our marketing efforts and a whole lot more. Feel free to reach me at kalib@jewishboston.com or 617-457-8751.
I look forward to working with you!
