Introducing the Shabbat of the Month Club

Since launching Shabbat of the Month we have had an extraordinary response. The excitement to share Shabbat with your families has inspired us and we are so grateful to you for signing up and spreading the word. At the moment we are not accepting new sign-ups. Please check back here for updates on the program with great content-related posts. Thank you for the support!

Shabbat Shalom!

Shabbat of the Month Club

Okay, it might not be anywhere near Shabbat when you're reading this. But it'll be Friday night before you know it. You can kick back, gather your family around you, and start getting ready for the weekend, exercising your right to a day of rest and relaxation.

But maybe you're a parent of young children, and Friday nights aren't much more than a continuation of the chaos you experience during the week. Alas! But what's that you say? You're asking if there is something you could do with your family on Friday nights? Something to bring everyone together for a fun and meaningful time? You remembered the joy that Seder in a Box brought you last Passover, and you think you'd like some kind of free, family-based, Shabbat-oriented activity designed for families with children 6 years old and younger?

Say no more! We have the answer to your oddly specific question! Introducing Shabbat of the Month Club, a free subscription program to help families create a memorable and fun Shabbat experience each month.

It works much the same way as our Seder in a Box: once you sign up, you'll receive a free monthly box filled with a Shabbat craft activity for you to do with your family, as well as instructions and information about Shabbat rituals, and our recommendations for Shabbat programs in the Greater Boston area. The program will run from January through June and feature a different theme each month (including Seder in a Box for March), ranging from candle-lighting to giving tzedakah.

There are only two conditions: that you have children 6 years old or younger, and that you live in the Greater Boston area. That's it! Simple as pie!
