JewishBoston.com is Your Guide for the High Holidays
![]()
Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur (aka The High Holidays) are almost here!
Rosh Hashanah begins on the evening of Wednesday, September 8th, which means now's the time to get our plans in order. Never fear – JewishBoston.com is here to help! This year, we can be your one-stop resource for all things holiday-related.
1. Looking for a place to attend services?
We’ve got a listing of dozens of services open to the public, including quite a few that are totally free.
2. Are you between the ages of 18 and 35?
We understand that holidays can be tough for young adults, especially if you’re new to the greater Boston area.
Our friends at GesherCity and the Synagogue Council of Massachusetts are putting together a Ticket Match program offering free and discount tickets to a variety of services around the area.
They’ll even help you get invited to a meal or two! Details will be available early next week.
3. Interested in joining a synagogue?
Check out these open houses to get a feel for the congregations. Now's a great time to join a temple, sign up for Sunday School, find a close community and get connected!
Looking ahead:
We’ve got a month of holiday-related blog posts coming, plus events to learn about the holidays, synagogue open-houses, and more.
And don't forget...
Sign up for our weekly events newsletter and keep your browser pointed at JewishBoston.com so you don’t miss a thing. And have a Shana Tova, a good new year!
