Rosh Hashanah Recipe Roundup
With Rosh Hashanah less than a week away, many of us are now officially into preparation mode. For some that may mean taking their best clothes to the dry cleaners, for others it's figuring out where exactly they might go to services, and for others, it's all about the food.

I know my mom made her annual trek into Brookline earlier this week to pick up the necessary ingredients for her brisket and her chicken soup. But if you're not as much of a pre-planner as my mom, you may still be looking for inspiration. So it's for you that I am pleased to present this list of links to all the Rosh Hashanah recipe posts we've had on the site this month:
Have you considered kicking off your meal with holiday-themed cocktails?
More of a Manischewitz drinker? That's okay too.
Did you know there are foods called simanim that have mystical associations with the holidays? Learn which foods to include and which to avoid to kick off the new year right.
One of the trendiest, and possibly most delicious, of the simanim is the pomegranate, so we gave it a whole post to itself.
The Butcherie offered us recipes for Marinated Brisket & Root Vegetables with Cherry Balsalmic Vinaigrette.
Perhaps you'd enjoy that with a side of Stuffed Acorn Squash.
If you're feeling mischievous, you might consider Roast Chicken Surprise.
