Young Jews to the Front of the Pack - vote Margie Klein for Jewish Community Hero!!

created at: 2010-08-31Everyone has the power to make great change in the world.  This is the belief that Moishe Kavod House founder Margie Klein instills in everyone she meets.  In just five short years, Moishe Kavod House, under Margie's leadership and guidance, has transformed the way hundreds of young Jews relate to Jewish culture and tradition and made a significant impact on critical social justice issues in the Boston area.

Now, you have the power to help Margie Klein become this year's Jewish Community Hero.  Please click here and vote for Margie!

In addition to Margie receiving much deserved national recognition for the innovative, grassroots Jewish community she has helped to build, Moishe Kavod House will receive $25,000. We are an extremely lean organization and impact thousands of individuals annually, Jews and non-Jews alike, on less than an average teacher's salary.  Winning this competition will help us expand our programming and reach even more young adult Jews.

We frequently hear from participants that until they found Moishe Kavod House they had never been welcomed into a Jewish community and were never given the chance to define what Judaism means to them.  These are the values that our community lives by and we know we have only just begun to see the impact of our work.

Please help us spread the word about voting for Margie and Moishe Kavod House.  If you would like more information on how to help please email us at moishehouseboston@gmail.com.

Thank you!!
