Kesher Newton at the Israel Folkdance Festival, Sunday, March 14, 2010

by Kesher Newton / March 05, 2010

Kesher Newton invites the public to the Israel Folkdance Festival of Boston to enjoy the performance of its two youth Israeli dance troupes, Kesheroked and Yaldei Kayetz. Made up of current and former Kesher Newton students, Yaldei Kayetz is led by Franny Bernstein, age 12, the youngest choreographer in the Festival for their second year.

The Festival will be held at MIT’s Kresge Auditorium, on Sunday, March 14, beginning at 3:00 pm. Tickets are $15. For more information on the Israel Folkdance Festival and to purchase tickets go to www.bostonfestival.org.

Kesher Newton is a nationally recognized organization committed to innovative supplementary Jewish education. It teaches both Hebrew and Judaic studies in a spirited and creative environment - more like a camp than a traditional Hebrew school. The Israeli dance troupe program is one of several electives available to Kesher’s students. Learn more at www.keshernewton.org or by calling Dan Brosgol, Executive Director, at 617-244-5390.
