Creative Community Model Seder for teens and adults with disabilities

One hundred and fifty plus guests enjoyed last year’s Community Model Seder for teens and adults with disabilities and their friends and the same robust crowd is expected this year.

This annual Seder provides an opportunity for some who don’t have another chance to be around a Seder table to enjoy the traditions of the holiday and be among friends. For others it offers a chance to practice what they know to bring to their family celebrations and/or learn something new about Passover. Always inclusive, the evening gives everyone who is interested a chance to participate. Guests also enjoy music and a full course dinner.

The Seder is coordinated by Friend 2 Friend of Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters and Jewish Community Centers of Greater Boston Special Needs Services Department. Find more information and register online, or call Jan Klein at 617-558-6548 or jan@jbbbs.org or Judy Pearl at 617-558-6508 or jpearl@jccgb.org.

Friendship: The next big thing.
