Bring Your Whole Family to Camp
Now that it’s officially spring, it’s time to start thinking about fun summer activities for the whole family! We asked Jody Fredman, director of Family Camp at Camp Yavneh, to fill us in on an interesting summer program that allows you to go to camp with your kids. The 8th Annual Family Camp in Northwood, N.H., from Wednesday, Aug. 22, to Sunday, Aug. 26 (with a two-day pre-camp add-on option), is a wonderful opportunity to bring your family to camp for an all-inclusive five-day vacation, filled with great activities for all ages, stimulating Jewish learning, wonderful kosher food and a ruach-filled Shabbat.
You’ll enjoy a session with one of the camp’s scholars-in-residence or sit back and relax on the waterfront property while your children have fun. All children’s camps, adult programs, lodging, meals and babysitting are included. There are many levels of lodging to choose from, including tents, bunks and deluxe guest housing with air conditioning and private baths.
For more information or to register, please visit campyavneh.org/familycamp or email jody@campyavneh.org. Next month, Family Connections will share even more helpful summer camp information, but in the meantime, you can explore other local camps here.
