JoJo's Profile
Jamaica Plain, MAI believe every single person out there has a story, and that every single story is worth listening to and can teach us something important.
This belief is difficult to maintain when I get crappy writing at my job.
But it's cool, I roll with it, I live, I learn, and I enjoy the rambling accidental poetry in the comma splices of life. (So no, you don't have to watch your grammar around me.)
I'm from Berkeley, California. I lived in Reno, Nevada for high school and college. I taught English in Korea for a year. I was raised feministly, west coast egal reform/conservatively, passionately, and messily.
I loved my hippy Jewish day camp growing up. I loved my experience with Sigma AEPi. I loved working hard for almost nothing at my local cafe in college, but mostly because my coworkers were so great and taught me so much about life.
These days I organize shabbat potlucks a lot for keshet and kavod, and I want to learn more Hebrew.
