I grew up in Dover MA, and developed a love for the little oblong yellow knishes that were made by Myers Kosher Kitchen ( and American Kosher Products) in Boston.  Most of the local supermarkets used to carry them in the 80’s.  Unfortunately, the owner of Myers passed away a few years ago and the business is gone.

Does anyone know where I can still buy Boston-style meat knishes now?  Someone must still be making them.  Or I’d be delighted with have a decent recipe so I can make my own!  I live in Florida now, and all my friends here grew up in Boston also and are carving these too. Kosher is not necessary.

I’ll be in Boston on business next week, and hope to find some while I’m there.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
