Muse & Schmooze: Jewish PrideDid you know that one of the world’s biggest and longest-standing LGBTQ pride parades is in Tel Aviv? Since 1993, this eclectically mixed city has celebrated the freedom of the LGBTQ population.

For many of us, especially in Massachusetts, showing support for LGBTQ rights is also part of our culture and being. And not surprisingly, the connections between the LGBTQ and arts communities have always run deep. So bring on the rainbows: June 6-15 is Boston Pride Week. Last year, supporters of Keshet marched through Boston with a fabulous 30-foot rainbow chuppah (see my photo, above!).

Pride parade fun fact: This year marks the first year that Amsterdam’s annual gay pride Canal Parade will feature a Jewish float!
