Quick Picks 7/9 - Have your falafel and eat it too
Who doesn’t need more chickpea in their life? Today, a new falafel joint is opening in Somerville that features fine falafel fare accompanied by over 20 topping and sauce choices. This new falafelria, called Amsterdam Falafelshop, got its inspiration from falafel shops in (guess) Amsterdam, and therefore also serves pomme frites and brownies, yum!
As great as that sounds, we here at Quick Picks prefer our Israeli falafel. And, speaking of Israel, here’s an adorable group pic of CJP’s YLD Mission to Israel. We’re guessing they might need a little break from chick pea consumption upon their return.
During their Tel Aviv concert, 90’s mega band Guns n’ Roses perform the Israeli national anthem, Hatikva. Well done, Axl Rose.
