The spring is an exciting time at Prozdor.  We just concluded trips to New York City and the Ukraine, we have our College Fair on March 18, are finalizing our 9th grade Pirke Dorot trip to Israel in April, and are hard at work planning the Greater Boston Jewish Youth Summit on May 20th.  There is never a dull moment in the office as we continue to offer a full range of programming to complement our teaching and learning.

created at: 2012-03-01Coming up in March we are pleased to let you know about some events that will be featuring our performing groups.

On Sunday evening, March 11, our Klezmer band will be performing at the Boston Jewish Music Festival’s “Klezmer Idol” at Riles Jazz Club in Somerville.  This showcase of talent will feature college and adult performers from across the community, and we are thrilled that our own Klezmer musicians will be sharing the stage with them.

The following Sunday, March 18, our talented Nilhav dance troupe will be performing at the 36th annual MIT Israel Folkdance Festival.  This all-day event draws performers from across the northeast and we are again honored to be participating.  But that’s not all— the following Sunday, March 25, the Nilhav dancers will be heading to Manhattan to participate in the Israel Dance Institute’s 61st annual Israel Folk Dance Festival and Festival of the Arts, just steps away from Lincoln Center!

Please consider seeing our performers in action.

All of these experiences show how the Prozdor experience extends well beyond the walls of our classrooms and of Hebrew College. We are proud to provide opportunities for our students to showcase their talents and literally see the world through a Prozdor lens.
