Last Saturday evening, hundreds of young professionals left the snow behind for the warmth of a campfire at the Young Leadership Division’s (YLD) A Fireside Affair: A party to send s’more kids to Jewish camps. You can check out party photos on Facebook, or view the camp-themed green-screen photos in our sideshow below.  (You can click through to our Flickr account to grab a copy of yours if you’d like it for your Facebook page, screen saver, or next year’s Chanukah card.)

In addition to all the fun, we raised critical funds to support CJP’s Camping Scholarships, a program that helps send underprivileged children Jewish overnight camps. Thank you to everyone who made a donation and participated in our raffle.

Together, we raised almost $3,000 for CJP’s Camping Scholarships, which was then matched by Lisa and Neil Wallack. Your generosity will provide 10 underprivileged kids with the opportunity to attend Jewish summer camps. That means sunshine, friendships, identity building, and memories to last a lifetime.

If you would like to contribute to CJP’s Camping Scholarships, please donate here.
