Jewish Presence at Occupy Boston!
 
The Jewish community is invited to simultaneously show its support for Occupy Boston while honoring the Chag of Sukkot.
 
The sukkah will be open throught the 8 days of Sukkot, and will serve as a base for Jewish community support for the social justice goals of the Occupy Boston encampment.
 
Special programs include:
 
-a pot-luck dinner Wednesday evening October 12, at 7:00.
 
-Rabbi Elyse Wechterman will lead a teaching in the sukkah Friday October 14 at noon
 
-Shabbat candlelighting
 
-Shabbat morning services at 10, with a potluck lunch at noon.
 
-a Workmens Circle sukkot celebration on Sunday October 16, from 10-1
 
-the Jewish Labor Committee will host an event at noon, Wednesday October 19.
 
In addition to these programs, all members of the community are invited to stop by throughout the eight days with snacks or lunches, or just to show support.
