Author Julie Orringer will discuss her novel, The Invisible Bridge, at the Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center on Wednesday, March 21 at 7:30pm. Named Best Book of the Year by the Boston Globe and Washington Post, The Invisible Bridge is a love story set against the backdrop of Budapest and Paris in the 1930s. It is a tale of three brothers whose lives are ravaged by war, and the chronicle of one family’s struggle against the forces that threaten to annihilate it.

Orringer’s appearance is part of the Ryna Greenbaum JCC Boston Jewish Book Fair. Ticket price is $8. Purchase tickets online at www.bostonjcc.org/bookfair or contact boxoffice@jccgb.org, 617-965-5226 or 866-811-4111. The JCC is located at 333 Nahanton Street in Newton.

A facilitated discussion about the book will take place a week before the author’s visit – on Wednesday, March 14 at 7:30pm at the JCC. There is no charge to participate in this discussion but registration is required. Call 617-558-6480.
