Yom Ha-Shoah Commemoration—remembrance services for victims of the Holocaust—will be held at Congregation B’nai Torah on Wednesday, April 18 at 7 PM. The event, co-sponsored by Congregation Or Atid of Wayland and Temple Beth El of Sudbury, will feature guest speaker Maria Puzzanghero. Ms. Puzzanghero will relate a true story of courage and resourcefulness, how her tiny medieval town in the Apennine Mountains took in Jewish refugees, and how she and her own family took in and hid, at great personal risk, a Jewish couple who had a baby while in hiding.
