An uplifting program featuring highlights from Zamir’s recent tour to Berlin – music from the synagogue bima to the cabaret stage.

The program includes music by the iconic 19th century Jewish composer for the Berlin synagogues, Louis Lewandowski; music by his contemporary, Felix Mendelssohn; music by Jewish composers who were active in Berlin in the 1920s, but who were forced to flee under the Nazi regime; and music by contemporary American composers, which Zamir performed in Berlin.  Also, Zamir will feature pictures from the tour and translations of songs on slides.
