The first Metrowest Jewish Community Shabbat Retreat in Nature will be held from Friday, August 17 to Sunday, August 19. The retreat will be a weekend of outdoor services, walks in the woods, meditation, storytelling, music, dancing, activities for kids and adults, havdalah under the stars, environmental art, and lots of time to visit with old friends and meet new ones. Camping in tents, sleeping in a lean-to or cabin, or going home to sleep are all options. Come for an afternoon, a day, or the weekend. All those who live or attend congregations in the Metrowest area are invited, of every age and every background. Dietary laws will be observed and meals will be vegetarian made with local foods. The retreat will begin at 4 PM on Friday and end at 1 PM on Sunday.

This program is supported by the Metrowest Jewish Community Fund of Combined Jewish Philanthropies.
