Exercise your body, and join other active learners at a six-week Explorations Adult Learning and Enrichment program. Explorations, a program of the Jewish Community Centers of Greater Boston, takes place from 10am-12:30pm on six consecutive Thursdays (10am-12:30pm), beginning July 12, at Temple Beth Avodah (45 Puddingstone Lane) in Newton. Topics include current events (with Boston Globe columnist Jeff Jacoby, American Jewish Committee Boston chapter past executive director Larry Lowenthal, and media critic Dan Kennedy), chair yoga, art history (Winslow Homer, Mary Cassatt, Norman Rockwell), live musical performances (jazz, Boston String Quartet), short story hour and a discussion of biblical figures and the rabbis' thought process behind their stories.
