ADL “NATION OF IMMIGRANTS” COMMUNITY SEDER
Boston, MA 02125
Led by Rabbi Jay Perlman and Cantor Elias Rosenberg
Sunday, March 14th 3:00 pm - UMass Boston, Campus Center Ballroom
Please be our guest at ADL's 4th Annual "A Nation of Immigrants" Community Seder.. This "Seder" does not actually take place during the Passover Holiday, but rather, is an opportunity to bring together diverse communities to learn about a Jewish tradition and to learn about one another. The theme of the event, "A Nation of Immigrants" highlights the notion that, with the exception of our Native American neighbors, we all came here from someplace else-whether in this generation, our grandparents' generation, or before...we each have a unique journey that led to our being a part of this nation. Today, with an increase in hate crimes against newcomers, and with the demonization of immigrants by extremist groups, this is an important opportunity to come together as people and as neighbors to learn more about our different backgrounds. We invite you, your friends and your family (children 10 and over) to spend the afternoon with us for this special event. THERE IS NO COST TO ATTEND THE EVENT, but registration is required. We hope you will join us. Register at the ADL New England site adl.org/newengland or call (617) 406-6300.
