Volunteer Mikveh Guides are the public face of Mayyim Hayyim.  They serve as informal educators and tour guides, answer the phone, provide information and advice about immersion, and do loads of "holy laundry."  Mikveh Guides are carefully selected and trained to do all of this and to act as witnesses for immersion, a moment of transition and vulnerability.

125 women and men have been trained as Mikveh Guides by Mayyim Hayyim.  Ask any of them and they will tell you that theirs is the most fulfilling volunteer opportunity in the Jewish community.

As part of our new Men's Initiative, Mayyim Hayyim is actively seeking men and male-identified applicants for our newest cohort of volunteer Mikveh Guides.  Visit our website for more information.
