1st Day Rosh Hashanah Service, Canton, MA

September 25, 2014 Canton $0.00 - $200.00

For a sweet High Holiday Season, come to Temple Beth David of the South Shore, a warm and welcoming Reform congregation. Our 1st Day Rosh Hashanah Service will include Shofar Services, and will conclude with Tashlich, held just outside our temple parking lot at the edge of Ponkapoag Pond.

Youth Services: Space is available in our Youth Service for school-age children (offered Free for families with High Holiday tickets), held from 10:00am to 11:00am on the 1st day of Rosh Hashanah. Your child(ren) must be pre-registered to attend. Please plan to arrive at least 5 minutes before services begin.

Childcare: There will be two babysitters for the entire service on each day of Rosh Hashanah. Fees and rules are the same as the first day. Please check the temple website for the Childcare Registration Form in the High Holiday Packet. Your child(ren) must be pre-registered to attend. If you have additional questions or concerns, please contact Sara Zwicker at ritual@templebethdavid.com.

Special Accommodations: The building is handicap accessible, with a wheelchair ramp and a handicap restroom equipped with a changing table. We need to know in advance if you need space for a wheelchair or baby carriage so that we can make the necessary accommodations, because chairs must be rearranged to avoid blocking the aisles. A quiet and private space is also available for nursing mothers. We have a limited supply of large-print prayer books. The sanctuary has an assistive listening system (hearing loop) with several wireless receivers and earphones available. Please contact Sara Zwicker at ritual@templebethdavid.com for any of these special services.

Food Pantry Drive: We welcome all to participate in the High Holiday Food Drive. Envelopes for contributions to Mazon and Family Table, and paper bags for collecting non-perishable, non-expired, sealed food items for delivery to local food pantries will be provided during Rosh Hashanah Services. All donations to this annual event are greatly appreciated!

Tickets are required for all services. Please contact Joni Block at membership@templebethdavid.com.
