Try Camp Tevya for a Day

August 2, 2015

Plan ahead for NEXT summer with a fun family day THIS summer. Camp Tevya invites your whole family for a half-day of fun designed to help you and your prospective camper(s) find out what’s so special here! Try activities, meet campers, enjoy Kosher camp lunch. FREE. Please pre-register.

Camp Tevya, a Cohen Camp, is a warm and spirited Jewish community that many people call “home.” Coed, for ages 8-16. Tevya is located on a beautiful lake under tall pines in southern New Hampshire, just an hour’s drive from Boston.

Each summer at Camp Tevya, we celebrate fun, self-confidence and friendships. Our focus on wellness starts in our new Seth Feldman Fitness Center and extends throughout camp. Our committed staff helps our campers develop strong character and gain life skills as they grow spiritually, socially and physically. Your child(ren) will enjoy favorite activities and try new ones, including swimming, waterskiing, sailing, tennis, archery, soccer, theatre production, videography, Jam Band, duct tape art and so much more. There is truly something for everyone around the shores of Lake Potanipo.

Jewish values and our Israeli heritage inspire our community all week, especially on Shabbat. Our campers simply glow as they sing and dance arm-in-arm. Camp Tevya is trans-denominational, welcoming young people of all Jewish backgrounds and experiences into the unmatched Tevya Ruach (Spirit).

The best part of Tevya: we do all our activities with our friends by our side. Friends who encourage us to try that basket one more time and then cheer us on as we sink the shot. Friends who yell “we love you” in unison as we take the stage. Friends who laugh and who listen. Friends who allow us to be ourselves. Our campers return year after year – and alumni stay deeply connected – for favorite memories and lifelong friends in this special summer family. We are one of three Cohen Camps — the others are Camp Tel Noar (co-ed, NUT-FREE) and Camp Pembroke (just for girls) — led by three generations of steadfast family leadership, and capped by Dor L’Dor, an Israel experience for Cohen Camps teens.
