Women’s Voices, Women’s Wisdom: Text Based Learning and Discussion

How does our own life wisdom as modern women influence our understandings of traditional texts — from familiar liturgy to little-known midrash? This once-a-month lunchtime discussion group addresses the intersection of women, women’s issues, women’s perspectives, and our sacred texts.

Course fee: $180

Course Requirements: No Hebrew required. A Bible should be brought to class.

Instructor: Rabbi Beth Naditch

Rabbi Beth Naditch was ordained by the Jewish Theological Seminary in 1999. she is a member of the faculty of the DeLeT/MAT program at the Mandel Center for Jewish Education at Brandeis University, where she teaches Jewish texts and educational theory to future day school teachers.
