Swim Lessons for Ages 3 Months and Up

September 14, 2014 Newton

Children as young as three months old can learn to swim at a unique swim program at the Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center (333 Nahanton Street) in Newton. The Lenny Krayzelburg Swim Academy focuses on safety, swimming fundamentals and flexibility for parents. Children can begin lessons at any time – they don’t have to wait for a class to begin. Children progress through the program at their own pace and can take lessons year-round. Progress is captured in personal swimming journals complete with fun exercises and positive reinforcement.
The JCC is the only facility in the Boston area to offer the Swim Academy, created by four-time U.S. Olympic gold medalist (2000, 2004) Lenny Krayzelburg.
An evaluation is needed in order to take lessons and be enrolled in the program. To set up a free evaluation, contact 617-558-6442 or lksainfo@jccgb.org. To learn more, visit www.bostonjcc.org/lksa. To learn more about Lenny Krayzelburg, visit www.lennykswim.com
