On Rosh Hashanah, it is customary to symbolically release our transgressions and to cast off that which holds us back from doing complete teshuvah. There are two tashlikh opportunities: at 4:30pm at Newton City Hall Pond with Rabbi Toba Spitzer, and a congregant-led gathering at 4:30pm at the beach at Jamaica Pond. Please bring small beans (no bread, please) to cast into the water. All ages are encouraged to come!

We welcome our members and the larger Jewish community to our High Holydays services. Registration is required by September 18. To register, please visit www.dorsheitzedek.org/high-holydays.

Event Location: Newton City Hall Pond
1000 Commonwealth Ave., Newton, Massachusetts, 02459
