As we welcome the Sukkot holiday and celebrate its promise of redemption, join special guest Ali Abu Awwad, a Palestinian peace activist featured in the film “Encounter Point,” as he shares his story and his current work for nonviolent reconciliation in response to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Currently finishing his book, Painful Hope, Ali is today a leading Palestinian activist teaching his countrymen non-violent resistance and reaching out to Jewish Israelis at the heart of the conflict. Ali is a transformative speaker, don’t miss seeing him!
