Make your own Solar Lantern while sharing thoughts about the presence of Light in Jewish tradition. Originally $36, now only $18 thanks to a Young Adult Mezzanine Grant from Combined Jewish Philanthropies.

This event is hosted by Shalom Y’All @ Temple Shalom and is part of the Shine the Light initiative: a connected series of learning opportunities using the arts to discover and explore the power of light.

Stick around for dinner and a screening of “The City Dark” (5-7:30 pm), a documentary film exploring global consequences of light pollution and the disappearance of the night sky; for only $7 more ($25 total)!
