Author of Book on Benghazi Terrorist Attack to Speak in Newton

November 23, 2014 Newton $12.00 - $15.00

New York Times bestselling author Mitchell Zuckoff will discuss his latest book, 13 Hours: The Inside Account of What Really Happened in Benghazi at the Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center (333 Nahanton Street) in Newton on Sunday, November 23 at 11am.
13 Hours presents, for the first time, a factual account of the events of September 11, 2012, when terrorists attacked the U.S. State Department Special Mission Compound in Benghazi, Libya. A team of six Americans fought to repel the attackers and protect the Americans stationed there. 13 Hours is their personal account of what happened during a night shrouded in controversy.
Zuckoff is a professor of journalism at Boston University and a former investigative reporter with The Boston Globe. Discussing the book with Zuckoff will be Charles Sennott, a Middle East analyst on NPR and CNN and former Boston Globe Middle East bureau chief.
The event is open to the entire community. The program is part of the Ryna Greenbaum JCC Boston Jewish Literary Series. Cost is $15. Includes brunch. Purchase tickets at www.bostonjcc.org/books or contact 617-965-5226 or boxoffice@jccgb.org
