Join Ma’ayan for a lecture on the writings of Rabbi Avraham Ibn Ezra – noted biblical commentator, linguist, poet and philosopher – in the context of the unique flourishing of Jewish culture and scholarship in 12th century Spain.

Sara Jo Ben Zvi is the editor of Segula, a popular Jewish history magazine produced in Jerusalem in Hebrew and English. She is a founding teacher of the Women’s Beit Midrash of Efrat and Gush Etzion and a graduate of Cambridge University, the Midreshet Lindenbaum Institute of Women Rabbinic Court Advocates and the Hebrew University.
