Yom Hashoah Remembrance Program

April 16, 2015

Please join us on Thursday evening April 16th at 7:00 pm for a very special Yom Hashoah Holocaust Remembrance program.

“Terezin – Living Through Learning And The Arts” is co-sponsored by Congregation B’nai Torah of Sudbury, Temple Beth El of Sudbury and Congregation Or Atid of Wayland.  This year’s program will be held in the CBT sanctuary.  The program is free to attend and open to the public.

Following a short memorial service, we will describe the lectures, writings, poetry, paintings and drawings, cabaret theater, opera, jazz and classical music performances that the adult and children prisoners produced at the Terezin concentration camp in Czechoslovakia while suffering under intolerable living conditions at the hands of the Nazis.

The program will also include displays of paintings and drawings, historical narration, film clips, readings of poems and diary entries and songs that illustrate this amazing story of perseverance.

We hope that you can join us for this very special event.

Event Location: Congregation B’Nai Torah
225 Boston Post Rd (Rte20) Sudbury, Sudbury, Massachusetts, 01776
