Me’ah Select Coming to North Shore

Me’ah Select is now enrolling participants for a new class to be held at the Jewish Community Center of the North Shore, in Marblehead.
“The Beginnings of Judaism and Christianity,” to be taught by David Bernat ,executive director of the Synagogue Council of Massachusetts, will meet Thursdays from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. between September and December.
Me’ah Select comprises single-term classes that focus on particular themes, texts and personalities in Jewish history. The program adheres to the same high standards of instruction as the Me’ah Classic program, and is targeted to adults of all backgrounds who are seeking to take a first, small step on their Jewish journey.
Participants of Me’ah Select enroll in one class at a time. Some students may wish to enroll in multiple Me’ah Select classes or in the Me’ah Classic program, in order to realize a more comprehensive experience.
