Adult Bar and Bat Mitzvah Class

October 18, 2015 $0.00 - $400.00

Join us on a spiritual and intellectual journey to become a “Jewish adult”. A new class for adults wanting to study and prepare for B’nai Mitzvah will meet every other Sunday. Rabbi Lewis Mintz will blend a variety of preparatory curricula including history, liturgy, text study, the exploration of various movements and a broad range of topics. The two-year course will culminate in a group B’nai Mitzvah service in the spring of 2017. Come and find out what makes this one of the most popular programs at our synagogue. The cost for non-members is $200 per year of study. No Hebrew skills are required for the class, but our annual Hebrew Marathon class is recommended for those unable to read Hebrew.

Event Location: Congregation Beth Elohim
133 Propect St., Acton, Massachusetts, 01720
