Boston Jewish Film Festival – East Jerusalem / West Jerusalem

November 11, 2015 Brookline $36.00 - $50.00

When legendary musician David Broza set out to make his newest album about peace, he set up the recording studio in East Jerusalem and invited his favorite Israeli, Palestinian, and American musicians to join him, including Mira Awad and folk-rock legend Steve Earle. Broza dreams of creating dialogue between Israelis and Palestinians through music. Coexistence becomes palpable through soulful songs, deep personal conversations in the East Jerusalem studio, and ongoing visits to the Palestinian refugee camp where Broza teaches music to kids. Screened at Sundance Film Festival. In English, Arabic, and Hebrew with subtitles.

Followed by a conversation and songs with David Broza.
