The 2015 symposium, presented by JF&CS Alzheimer’s/Related Disorders Family Support, will explore community-wide adaptations that can improve livability and quality of life for the growing number of individuals and families affected by dementia.

Opening remarks by Massachusetts Secretary of Elder Affairs, Alice Bonner, PhD, RN.
Presenters include:

Gary Glazner, poet, Founder of the Alzheimer’s Poetry Project, Director of the Memory Arts Café, Brooklyn, New York

Susan McFadden, PhD, and John McFadden, MDiv, leaders in the Wisconsin-based Fox Valley Memory Project, and authors of Aging Together: Dementia, Friendship, & Flourishing Communities
