On Shabbat Rishona - the first Shabbat of the month - learners - 3rd grade through adult gather in the vestry to learn more about an upcoming holiday. Mrs. Nussbaum works with adults and older students. Ms. Yarman works with younger students. At 9:45 a.m. when the Mini-Minyan comes to the vestry for their Kiddush the Learners Minyan goes upstairs to the sanctuary for a streamlined, learner-friendly service, followed by a scrumptious expanded Kiddush in the vestry at 11:00 a.m.
