A Conversation with Sheriff Peter Koutoujian

November 8, 2015 Newton

The timeliness of this presentation cannot be understated. Shootings, gun violence, robberies, white-collar crime, muggings and a host of other criminal activities are on everybody’s radar. TV, radio, and newspapers make it impossible to escape the reality of this aspect of life in twenty-first century America. And to make matters worse our jails are filled to the bursting point. We all know the problem! What we want to know is what, if anything is being done to make it all stop. While it is unreasonable to expect one individual to have all the answers, our guest speaker will be able to provide some of the answers to the question of what is being done.

The evening will start at 5 p.m. in Room 201 with a wine and cheese reception followed by Sheriff Koutoujian’s presentation in the Rothman Chapel at 6 p.m. Time will be available for questions after the sheriff’s presentation.

The cost for the evening is only $5 per person payable at the door or by sending a check, payable to “Temple Shalom” to Temple Shalom, 175 Temple Street, Newton, MA 02465.
