For 110 years, AJC has worked to advance understanding and respect among people of diverse backgrounds. Today, as conflicts fueled by ethnic, racial and religious differences spread around the globe, the urgency of this work has only grown. AJC New England’s Annual Co-Existence Award was established to celebrate leaders who have contributed to a more peaceful, pluralistic and democratic world by advancing our collective commitment to co-existence. AJC New England is proud to honor Governor Deval Patrick, a lifelong champion of ethnic, religious, and gender diversity and legal rights, as its inaugural Co-Existence Award recipient.

Please join us to recognize Governor Patrick, Jonathan Dorfman, AJC New England’s new board president, and Mel Shuman, who has just completed his three year term as board president.
