Ask Me Anything: A Syrian Refugee Working with Israelis Answers Your Questions

July 13, 2015 0

“Amin Ahmed” is one of four million Syrians who has been forced to flee his country. The four-year, bloody civil war has been nothing short of a humanitarian catastrophe. Amin got out, but he didn’t forget those left behind.

Now safely in the United States, he is working to help those left behind in the war-torn country. In doing so, Amin has been working with people who he was raised to believe were his enemies, the Israelis. Together with an Israeli relief worker, Amin and the Multifaith Alliance is raising emergency funds for disaster relief agencies helping people throughout the conflict-torn areas of the Middle East.
His own incredible story – and his efforts to help others still stuck in Syria – will be the basis of the next MySababa “Ask Me Anything” on Monday, July 13.

Join us at 7:30 pm (Eastern) for this unique opportunity to hear from a man who has seen the worst and remained dedicated to making lives better for those around him.

Event Location: Online only, Boston, Massachusetts, 02110
