Author Explores Jewish Presence in Baseball

Brookline author Larry Ruttman will discuss his book American Jews and America’s Game: Voices of a Growing Legacy in Baseball at the Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center (333 Nahanton Street) in Newton on Wednesday, March 12 at 10am. Ruttman will explore American Jewish life in the United States over the last century and reveal the histories he gathered from nearly 50 Jewish baseball luminaries who served the game both on and off the field. He will also offer his take on the coming Red Sox season.
