Body and Soul – The State of the Jewish Nation

November 8, 2015

Body and Soul – The State of the Jewish Nation ~ a feature documentary film by award-winning filmmaker Gloria Z. Greenfield, presents a comprehensive examination of the broad and deep connections between the Jewish People and the Land of Israel.

World-renowned historians, archaeologists, political scientists, religious leaders, and international law and media experts—including Rabbi Jonathan Sacks, Bret Stephens, Ruth Wisse, Yossi Klein Halevi, Einat Wilf, Alan Dershowitz, Robert Wistrich, Anita Shapira, Jonathan Sarna and others–trace the evocative evolution of the relationship between the Jewish People and their homeland that is more than 3,000 years old.

This powerful 64-minute documentary not only presents the undeniable historical connection between the Jewish People and the Land of Israel, but also succeeds in debunking the propaganda, myths and misinformation that have become accepted as truth by so many.

A post-screening discussion will be led by director/producer Gloria Z. Greenfield. Body and Soul – The State of the Jewish Nation is her third feature-length documentary film. Her previous film credits include The Case for Israel – Democracy’s Outpost, released by Doc Emet Productions in 2008; and Unmasked Judeophobia, released by Doc Emet Productions in 2011.
